Crash in the mid of a battle

This error never happened before.

The problem:

I wanted to defeat an beastmen army, but every time I start the battle it crashes after a while.

I have defeated plenty of beastmen armies before but this problem never occured.

I mean I can avoid this battle but I really don't want this enemy behind my back while fighting the Chaos armies.

I am playing Reikland.

Any solution for this?

Auto resolve it. Before battle hit the ` key and type in: auto_win attacker press enter then auto resolve.

Before trying any outlandish fix, try Reiksfart's suggestion. This may just be some random bug in the mod, or it could be another issue entirely. Do you experience frequent crashes with the CoW mod when fighting battles, or has it only happened this one time?

Yes it's an unspecified error and it's happened only this one time.

But I will try Reiksfart's suggestion first.

Is it the 'fatal graphics error' you get during the battle ?
That's the only type of crash I get actually during a battle but it only sometimes happens if there are a lot of large armies in the battle and is quite rare. And I don't think it's CoW related just some general M2TW engine bug.

wierd,i must have played 300 + turns with various factions and i only had 1 crash on the battlefield.
had 'em everywhere else! cheers
