'Generic Error

DATABASE_TABLE error found: max records exceeded from file eb/data/descr_model_battle.txt'

Simpley, wtf!?

I'm using EB 1.2 Mega Mod Pack for Alex.exe and RS Enviroments on Win7 OS.

Any ideas!?

Check the mod pack and/or personal modifications, normal EB does not show this kind of error.

That Mega mod pack is bugged to hell,I'd say that's the culprit.

... Okay, I uninstalled everything and reinstalled, except the MegaMod back is now for Rome not Alex.exe, but now it just runs vanilla Rome....

Did you reinstall EB to the correct folder,then test it before installing the Mega Mod Pack?

From the Frequently encountered issues:

My EB shortcut doesn't work!

Sorry about that. A product of lacking experience with creating installers, I made a mistake when creating the shortcuts that start EB 1.2.

Use the Trivial Script to start EB instead of the start menu shortcut. You need to have installed this as part of EB 1.1.
Modify the shortcut target. Move the end quote from the end of the line to directly after RomeTW.exe and it should work (goes for both the new shortcuts in 1.2). For instance, instead of "C:\My games\RomeEB\RomeTW.exe -mod:eb -show_err -ne" it should be "C:\My games\RomeEB\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb -show_err -ne.

Did you run EB-Play or EB-Singleplayer?

If the second doesn't work, create a new shortcut to Rome-TW.exe and edit the target line by adding: -mod:eb -show_err -ne

Nope still didn't work

Looks like I'll need to reinstall for the 3rd time. Is EB 100% definantly compatable with Win7, yeah? I didnt have this problem with XP.

Yes, EB works perfectly with Win7.

Well... I mean, MegaMod pack worked on XP fine and dandy, no problems whatsoever. Now suddenly with new OS I get loads of problems!

More then likely the problem is with the Mega mod pack rather then EB itself.

Short guide of How to install EB

Install RomeTW (outside Program Files with Vista/Win7)
Install EB 1.1 into the RTW folder
Install EB 1.2 into the RTW folder
Download and apply the 1.2 fixes

I added one new unit to EB and that message shows when I try to launch the game from the launcher...

Did anyone tried to add new units to it? Or just me?

I'm no noob in adding new units of Rome Total War...
