No Skirmish Mode for horse archer?!

Yesterday i downloaded this mod and after a short view an it i thought the mod is great.
But now i found out that no single horse archer unit can skirmish.

So my first question is why not?

And my second one is how can i aktivate those mode?

I hope that someone out there can help me...

Which version do you have? You may have installed something improperly, although this kind of problem is... Inexplicable.

Anyway, let's wait for some real modder to arrive.

With any horse archer in the game, but not with foot archers or any skirmishing unit with javelins.

I realized it when i played the vandals the first time and after that i checked the horse archer of the sassanids, the hephtalits, the Huns and the east roman empire. The all cant skirmish.

Well, the most obvious cause could be incorrect installation. Try reinstalling. Or ask someone to upload an EDU.

Not to insult you, but have you pressed the skirmish button on the battle-interface. If you are a first-time player this is easy to miss. I doubt it has anything to do with installation.

but in the battle-interface, where the skirmish button normaly is, is no skirmish button. So my horse archer unit CAN´T skirmish and this is the reason for this thread.

Yes, not all horse archers have skirmish mode, but I think it's normal for heavy armoured cavalry not to have skirmish mode as their primary duty is smashing through enemy lines . But if those whose pirmaly duty is bow on horseback, then smthg must be wrong.
