Looks promising, though the last scene is a bit weird, Isengard is not even close to the mountains. xD

True, those hills seemed a bit too low to be the Southern end of the Misty Mountains.

Yeah I read something that said that was just in the cinematic. In the game it should be where it's supposed to be. This expansion is supposed to have three new regions added: Dunland, Gap of Rohan, and Isengard. I play LoTRO on Arkenstone and Riddermark servers.

Interesting that it seems not to be visually based on the films. I always find different versions interesting to look at. My own imagination when reading the books depicts it very differently to the films.

650m is too small? The diameter of Isengard circle wall is almost 2km. The tower seem being as tall as 2 third of half diameter.
I'll say this Orthanc is huge, as it was lorewise 150m tall.

Or, if it's small, then the circle is far more smaller than the tower is.

Can't wait for the release, I just hope the new map areas is bigger than the one in SOM!
But it looks like its turning out to be a great late summer/fall with the release of TATW 3.0 (hopefully) in August, Lotro ROI in September, Battlefield 3 in October and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in November!! =D

    Edit:
A little off topic: Does any of you guys play Lotro, and if yes, on which server?
I myself play on the Silverlode US server. I'm from the EU, but there are more people on the US servers than the EU ones.

it stated this is what was going to be added
    Rise Of Isengard
Explore Three New Regions! -- The time has come for you to turn eastward, toward the vale of Isengard. Where ancient forests once flourished, a corrupted waste of metal and wheels suffers under the thrall of the traitorous wizard Saruman. Here, in the shadows of the tower of Orthanc, gathers an army of Orcs and Uruk-hai, toiling to make ready for war. Forge ahead into these devastated lands and uncover new quests, skills, and traits as you strive to thwart Saruman’s ambition.

Dunland – Adventure amidst the bright forests in the foothills of the southern Misty Mountains. Beware the Dunland Clans, rugged warriors tempted by the dark promise of power.

Gap of Rohan – Battle over the legendary pass between Eriador and the plane of Rohan. This key strategic point must be defended against the ambitions of Sauron.

Isengard – Explore Orthanc, one of the iconic Two Towers as it rises over the once beautiful Isengard valley. The once beautiful vale now desecrated beyond imagination by the Wizard Saruman the betrayer.

    Advance to Level 75!

Face new challenges and continue to forge your own legend in Middle-earth with all-new epic quests, skills, and deeds as you fight new enemies on your journey level 75!

Face the ancient evil of Draigoch, one of the most powerful creatures in Middle-earth! Prepare for the ultimate challenge where nothing less than the strength of an entire force of 24 heroes stands the chance of victory.

    Plus alot more.....
Oh and by the way in game its going to be massive" The landscape, Tower, etc." according to a developer friend of mine...

There is also 3 regions that will be added to Monster Play (Creeps & Freeps) so if you have any ideal or played lotro then you know what Monster Play is

NOTE : Yes I play LOTRO for about 2 and half years now Im on Riddermark Server now (Was on Akenstone but when f2p was released I wanted a fresh start so I went to Riddermark)

If anybodys on there look for me or any of my alts I have a rank 9 kin and the name of my kin is " Guardians Of The Flame " so if your running around on Riddermark and you see someone in that kin then its me, I have 9 charcters that I run and the only guys in my kin is me and my alts so hit me up if you need anything made I have 3-65th lvl guys and the rest are from 40th to 50th lvl plus I am SM in all vocationals so basicly I can make anything " As long as I have the mats "

Sure, been playing it for.. 2? years already.
    European immigrant of Snowbourn.

Maybe I should try and level one of my alts to at least past-moria 'till the Isengard is out.
Been saving the Enedwaith and rest of the Mirkwood for future leveling purposes on my main, Hobbit Hunter, Proviaroc

Interesting to see how it turns out as I just loved the atmosphere in Moria but found Mirkwood a bit.. dull.

That trailer really ed me off when first saw it - they may as well have just used scenes from PJ's The Two Towers. Been playing since Beta and pre-Launch and LOTRO has increasingly been PJacksonized...
