    Default Why do the Selucids have so many greek cities

    Why isn't Babylon and basicly everything east of there Eastern Culture not Greek, I don't think that greek as the majority culture, rather than the minority culture of elites extended far beyond Asia minor. On the other note, why are their Egyptian culture cities in Asia Minor, or even on Cyprus and Crete?

    I think these cities all became part of the Ptolemaic (Egypt) after the collapse of Alexander the Great's empire.

    We attempted to make the factions such as Bactria and Seleucia have a mix of Greek and Eastern culture in their units. The city cultures reflect Greek because the RTW engine can only support one culture, not a mix of two. Therefore the cities look more accurate with Greek culture as the primary culture, although Eastern culture had a huge impact as well.

    On the other note, why are their Egyptian culture cities in Asia Minor, or even on Cyprus and Crete?
    They came under the rule of Ptolemy and his successors, who adopted Egyptian culture.

    The Selucids should stay greek culture and some buildings in Selucid cities should be greek aswell, but the cities (and some buildings) in their towns should be eastern culture. They would have to deal with the culture penalty for owning those cities, but not those in Asia Minor (that are greek).

    Yes, this is the best solution. It has a sense to let them pay a culture penalty for "occupying" e.g. Babylon.

    But I dont know if there is any way to implement this.

    My suggestion show to try to do this:

    1. Maybe to do one part of the empire to be the other faction (here Eastern part, with eastern buildings), which would be always protectorate of the motherland (here the Seleucid Empire with greek culture).

    2. Maybe implement for such a faction a system of two parallel buildings - each look as different culture and for one half of them implement the "pseudo" culture penalties in EDB.txt file. However it would be alot of work, and I dont know if there is sufficient space as for the eventual limit number of all buildings (something such a limit number of all possible units).
