    Default Overpowered Thracians?

In my Rome game, I've noticed the Thracians have built up a huge empire going all the way up through Germania to the North Sea (unlike in vanilla, where they get thrashed). It looks to me like they have a big edge when it comes to the autoresolving against AIs. It reminds me of the huge dominance of Britannia in vanilla, where they can expand all the way across Europe because of their chariots in autoresolve. Is this possible to be fixed?

Hmmm, in mine they destroy Germania only to get killed by Sarmatia.

"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"

They usually beat Germania but get raped by Sarmatia, Rome/Macedon.

If anything, Germania are underpowered, they rarely do anything more then take southern Britain.

Ah, so it's that the Germans are underpowered rather than Thrace overpowered. That still makes sense, Thrace has only extended in that one direction. Either way, though, a half-barbarian remnant of Alexander's empire making a big empire like that makes little sense.

Neither does Spain destroying Carthage and yet that happens quite frequently.
The start is historical, everything after that is just random.

Balance in the area is quite tricky, sometimes you get dominant thrace, others macedon and even GCS can get a shot.
If we notice one side overperforming we could nerf them slightly but we'll need more feedback before acting.

Also, macedon+thrace is quite rich, if the faction also gets greece it has a cash cow good enough for serious expansion.

In my Carthage campaign, the GCS have survived and taken Southern Greece.

As I've conqured Rome, I decided to giv the Mak's a boost (10000 denari).

I've also seen Carthage take Iberia as the Seleucid campaign. That doesn't happen often (constant attack on Cyrene by Iberian Assault Infantry the result for me).

The thing with Thrace, is that they don't have much to worry about early in the game, except for Macedon. The Sarmatians will take awhile to get into Eastern Europe and the Germans are usually busy dealing with the Celts and Gauls. So if Thrace can get an alliance with Macedon (which they often do), they can expand pretty quickly and without much of a fight. Though they don't do well when one of the western nations (Rome, Macedon or GCS) decide to go into the Thracian region.

Out of the barbarians, the Iberians are generally the strongest. If you have land bridges on, it's not unusual for them to conquer all of Carthage. I've even seen them push deep into Roman territory.

yeah i find the same problem thrace expands north and just destroys Germania, and Iberia takes out Carthage quickly. and if you play as Rome, the future will not be bright.
