    Is it possible to make artillery immobile on the battle map, beyond pivoting?

    I don't think immobile is possible, just extremely slow.

    There is a custom entry in the EDU that alters the speed percentage wise - I believe it is called move_speed. Please have a look for a tutorial in the text editing forum concerning the details in the EDU (export_descr_unit file).
    Apologies for not being more helpful, this machine here hasn't got anything M2TW installed.

    move_speed_mod 1.0
    1.0 = normal speed

    below it it makes units move slower (0.9 -> 0.1) and higher makes it goes faster (1.0 -> 2.0)


    not sure about decimal numbers or even 0

    Decimal numbers work (at least single digit ones). I think it is along the line of percentages - 0.8 = 80%
