Are these paths correct?
C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\kingdoms.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\Launch_PItalica2.bat?
If nothing else, go into \mods\PItalica_v096, and run that Launch_PItalica2.bat.
thanks that fixed it just thought Id let u know this is FREAKING amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just played a siege battle, I had encounter some bugs:
I can post screen shots, but ( Im lazy ) that when you double right click units to attack another unit on the walls, they dont do anything. Thats pretty annoying thing that I noticed right away, and that missile units, especially javelin have weird animations.
Right now til the command fix bug (gets fix I hope ) I wont be able to play any siege battles. Im sorry but its not fun when you click to attack a unit on the walls, and they just stand there...
So far everything runs and looks good.
Cavalry are just way to (over powering it seems ) in-game. Rebel equities can kill at least 2 of my militia spear units...
EDIT* I just noticed the bug thread, haha sorry signifer if i posted in the wrong thread. I can move this.
Also i noticed not many of the romans have the ability to throw their javelins/pilums. Which is sad to see its not in because of RTW and the time period )

Under the patronage of Hader
C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\PItalica2_v096 Only has these files/Folders:
*=Folder
*Data
*Packs
*Preferences
*saves
cfgPItalica2.cfg
Launch_PItalica2.bat
In case that CFG is the Log, It says this:
cfgItalica2
Now It seems like it does actually save stuff to a log somewhere, and that some Data is missing :o

I have same problem than Angel : I have romans assaulting Rebels, with ladders, some units fight normally. Some units (maybe 50% or more) have some soldiers don't moving, staying between the ladder and the wall.
I double clic to get them move, they finally move, but i am afraid that if AI is assaulting, his soldiers will stay like this and doesn't attack.
I can show a screen later, in my next assault, but i don't know when.
You like EPIC battles ? watch Diadok's Gallery, play Epic Late Campaign for TATW 2.1
"They rob the poor under the cover of law, forsooth, and we plunder the rich under the protection of our own courage." (Black Sam Bellamy)
Mission to reinfirce genua has no text and seems to be a template. Including screenshot and save.
UI is weird when entering battle, is this intentional? Same save file attacking a city in western italy

A major bug would be aztec buildings in Etruria, which i am reporting. Huge walls in 4th century BC is endurable, but i doubt the ancient italians had Pyramids.
Yeah that will be fixed in the next patch.
Perhaps.
Aztec pyramids? No, Egyptian Pyramids? Yes, but that was in the late-roman era, where a rich Roman liked the Pyramids he saw on a Journey to Egypt. So he built a Pyramid, Which, due to expansion, got merged into the Roman Wall later.
And IDK when the guy built it, but I think it was AD.
I have the same issue with the steam version. C/Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Medieval ii total war/mods/PItalica2_v096/Launch_PItalica2. I double click the launch and it brings me to the kingdoms lauch where I selected start and decide what version I want to play. The PItalica2 does not show. I then select Medieval ii option and it starts up with the hours glass of PItalica 2 and shows me the screen for the mod for about 1 sec. The game then crashes and tells me that Medieval has incounterd a problem.
I Have also downloaded the first patch and deleated the two files that were asked to delet if present. Could this be becasue I used Megafile to download or does the even matter?
I would love to play this mod so any help would be great. I have also had this issue with the Third age mod. I gave up on trying to figure out what was going on with it but this mod sees to cool to pass up.
I've gotten a CTD in the load-screen of both battles I've tried to play with Syracuse so far.
Note, both of them were city battles though and I haven't tried a custom battle yet to see whether a random field battle could work. =/

I have found wrong text, while playing with greek cities:
In Greek Literacy, Provides: Amplifies the conversion effect of ORTHODOX churches by 50%
Ok thanks Osmanra.
Mavs it should work if you delete those files.
*ahem*
My Problem isn't Closed yet
Your error is one of a kind, because all battles have been reported to be bug-free so far, by other testers and in my own experience. We'll need some more reports to nail that one down. Suffice it to say that people have played several thousand turns by now without having seen it repeat.
< I removed files as instructed>
Two of a kind. I have been lurking and hoping MWind's issue would be resolved. Play as Romans go directly to Anagnina (sp?) and beseige. Attack next turn and crash. I did attempt a custom battle and it worked.
I have a very old rig and maybe the graphics are blowing up on me (load times are glacial compared to vanilla). Please let me know what information I can provide to help.
Cheers,
C
"I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates who said, 'I drank what?'"
Well with specific instructions like that, I'll look into it right away. Btw the initial load time is slow, just to be clear, not the turn times.
