    Default I swear...

    There's a program called winfixer 2005 that keeps on popping up while i'm surfing the internet.
    I've tried spybot, AVG and Ad-Aware to get rid of it, but to no avail.
    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME HERE.

    I'd recommend switched to firefox, it's not as vulnerable to adware.

    That's why :wink: You should be using FireFox. IE is probably the most weak browser against viruses and things like that.

    it seems that most suggest using Firefox, and I will do the same. I don't even have a anti-virus program except the crappy one the university lets us download, and I haven't had a big problem since

    Get used to using Knoppix for web browsing, and you will never have to worry about viruses again.
