Default The Holy Roman Empire Wars - Submod for SS

So... this MOD is not ready yet
    But you can help

This topic was made for anyone who wishes to help me doing this, as a idea for the regional MODs for Stainless Steel, as this should make SS a enjoyable game, with lots of regional campaings

It starts at the year of 1300, and here comes the map of the MOD:

Here you have a relation of the factions up to come:
    - Bold citier are the capital of the faction

    Bavaria - Munich, Landshut, Straubing
Bohemia - Praha, Budejovice, Kladno, Liberec
Brabant - Brussels, Antwerp, Den Bosch ('s-Hertogenbosch)
Brandenburg - Ascaria, Postdam, Berlin, Soldin
Denmark - Kiel, Lubeck, Rostock, Schwerin
France - Paris, Rheims, Troyes, Nevers, Nîmes
    Hungary
Poland - Wroclaw, Lublin, Warsaw, Poznan
    Teutonic Order
    Thuringia
    Luxembourg
    Saxony - Hamburg, Hanover, Bremen
    Spain (Kingdom of Sardinia)
    Venice - Venice, Trieste
    Papal States - Avignon

So, post anything here that should help this dream to come true

    1. Your idea is more of an idea for a totally new mod, not a submod of SS
    2. There is already a mod that does this, Das Heilige Römische Reich

Actually, im planning to do this with the SS main stream, making a regional submod, and not a real new MOD.

This is to increase the Stainless Steel experience. After this one, im planning an Iberian Reconquista submod for Stainless Steel too
Altrough, DHRR starts at 1080 and goes to 1250, so, this is an entirely new era for the HRE =)
The idea is making the main faction inside the empire playable, and dissolving the empire. So your objective is going to be unite the empire one more time, but under your banner.

But then you have the outer problems that will affect you. Venice, Hungary, Poland, France and Denmark are very strong kingdoms, and can come to war on you in any time.

Interesting idea, though as long as you keep Denmark's colors blue/yellow, and not red/white as they should be, then I cannot support this submod

Since half of the factions use the colour Red, White and Blue (), Im planing to use blue/yellow due to the Danish King I'm planing to use, Christopher II, House of Estridsen

Hope you should support this, if you don't, I'll have a problem with the colours

    I guess i just made a Spoiler

Tell me PerXX, whats with all that hearts on that danish cote of arms? It's not like you've spread love in middle ages

The original intent of the hearts are not entirely known - they can be traced back to King Knud VI in 1194. It wasn't until Frederik VI in 1819 that the number were fixed to 9 - before that it would often vary.
They aren't actually hearts either, but "søblade" - lake-leaves. Most people still call them hearts though

An interpretation of the Nordic Coat of Arms could of course also be this:

It's a fairly accurate depiction of the Finnish Coat of Arms, yes?

As for Denmark's colors - That's just the king's coat of arms, not the national colors. Blue/Yellow is the colors of Sweden, the arch-enemy of Denmark. Dannebrog had, atleast according to legend, been in use for almost 100 years by the time you start the campaign. At the very least, please have the Danish troops wear red/white color skins on the battlefield.

As you wish. Bohemia now uses DarkRed/White, according to their coat of arms.
Denmark is using Red/White, we will see if in campaing map this should work

The problem is that Red and White was the colours of many european factions in real.
