Does it come up with any errors when you start it?
Also where is your shogun 2 installed too?

The mod manager is portable, it doesn't install. just run it from where ever it is. If you'd like to create an shortcut, right click the .exe file, select send to, then click desktop.

I haven't tested the app on windows vista or xp, only windows 7 64bit( should work on 32)

If it isn't working, try right clicking the .exe and open up the properties and run as admin, also if it shows blocked, click unblock. if it still gives errors, copy and paste the error in a reply to this thread, also tell me your install path for shogun 2 & your OS.

Yeah I get the same issue as Condottiere SOG...also CommandDos how can you not have a steam version? Even the disc needs steam running to install/patch it?

Great app but there's much that can be done to improve it. You need to be able to select where the games installation directory is. You should also be able to select where your tools are located. This is just sloppy.

Same here has no one an idea how to fix this?

it doesn't work because it thinks shogun is in a different directory than it really is. It points to steam/common when it should point to steam/steamapps/common

Run the console cmd.exe as Admin and create a hardlink with the following command. Adjust both directory statements to fit your installation of steam.
    MKLINK /D F:\Steam\common\ F:\Steam\SteamApps\common
