    Default Editing Agents?

    which file(s) would I need to edit to change the recruitment and upkeep costs of agent s which are in my opinion way too expensive.

    descr_agent_ancilliarys.txt. Names a bit of a give away isn't it.

    It was/is I just cant quite figure it out, its set up much differntly than the export_descr_units.txt so I wanted to make sure I had the right file, thanks though.

    Precisly which line corrolates to the recruitment costs and which to the upkeep costs?

    The numbers in red refer to recruitment costs. The numbers in blue refer to build times. Upkeep costs are in the file descr_character. Look for:
    type spy

    actions moving_normal, spying
    wage_base 50

    Number in green is the upkeep cost(As you can see, I've lowered my spy's cost to 50 per turn). Look for assasin and diplomat in the same file.

    I think the agent recruit time mod doesn't work any more as long as you install the patch 1.5. You can simply check out this by deleting data\descr_agent_ancilliarys.txt file, and the game still runs well. I hope someone can help me to mod it too.
