laptop help

Hi guys,
Finally, I am on the market for a new laptop (in the US), and I'd like to make sure that it can run SS nice and smooth, close to being maxed out. Before you ask, it has to be a laptop.

So I looked the various Dell models (the XPS line), and I'd like to ask for your advice on some specifications I picked.

- 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM processor 2.00 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 2.90 GHz
- NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M 2GB graphics with Optimus
- 6GB Shared Dual Channel DDR3 Memory
- 15.6 FHD B+RGLED TL (1920x1080) display (I am thinking about the 17" screen too, but not yet decided)

I kinda think that it should be ok, and some may even be an overkill, but before I spend that kind of money, I'd like to hear from the experts. Thank you in advance!

Turbo boost is a good thing as Kingdoms can't benefit from multicore systems and a good CPU will speed up your Stainless Steel turn times - your post has been moved to the basement so that you can get more input on this

I would go without a doubt to the dv6 qe, and currently there is a 200 off coupon, since the 25% off has expired
basically get the

cpu - i7 2630qm
gpu - 6770m 1gb

and the FHD display

I would also wait for the next 20-30% off coupon, those are usually issued monthly. For example last month they had a 30% off, then a 25% and another 25%.

Good point, thanks. Which video card would you recommend for the dv6? Would the 2GB Radeon(TM) HD 6770M GDDR5be a good choice?
