Default Bodyguards and how to add them...

In my current RK game, I observed that not everybody in the House of Hurin has a White Company bodyguard, and not every member of the House of Galador has a Dol Amroth bodyguard. I know this is because of game triggers, but is there a way to add the bodyguard in using the console? I have already tried using "CaptainOfEmynArnen", but that failed. I would think this wouldn't be that difficult.

Also, how do you remove an ancillary? I tried give_ancillary "Name" "office_lord_of_emyn_arnen" -1 yet that didn't work. Any ideas? I don't think a man of the House of Telcontar should rule the lands of the Prince of Ithilien.

You can't change the BG unit with the console.

And there is no way to remove an ancillary other than killing the character that carries it. You can of course just give an anc to another character...

Yeah, I just added the ancillary to my current head of the House of Hurin. Oh well, I guess there are multiple Lords of Emyn Arnen now.

I really wish I could change bodyguards. Oh well.

Some ancillaries can be transferred from one character to another by putting them in the same stack and dragging+dropping the ancillary from one character to another. I think this is what Aradan meant, rather than creating another ancillary via console

The tale of Legio IV Flavia Felix: After cowardice during the Revolt of 69-70 AD the IV Macedonian was reconstituted and renamed IV Flavia Felix, or "lucky legion" signifying its luck at not being dishonorably disbanded.
