Default THe ebII config file question

Hi al. Thany thanks to the team for releasing the new update/

In my 2.35xxx install I have an notepad++ edited confyg.sys file (as instructed no trace, bordered windowless )

Can I replace the config.sys in the 2.4 update with my old (working) current config.sys file ? (in 2.35xxx)?

    Thank you

Yes, any changes to the config should be perfectly safe.

Though if you change the validation settings, that won't be savegame compatible, I don't think.

    Thankyou QS for your reply.
Just a quick question, what is a validation setting ?

And... what is this m2twEOP ? I gather its "engine overhaul project." Never heard of it before-and I follow this forum often.

Is this independent to 2.4 I`ve seen a post that seems to link it to 2.4 update. p.s. Love this game, it`s my favourite . Thankyou v. much to all the team

One of the options in the config to check whether or not you've altered files. It's set to "yes", which means if you change anything, saves made before that change will no longer load.

The EOP is optional, you don't need to use it. And it's also a semi-functional prototype.
