    Default South Australian Mod

A simple mod I made for HoI3:SF, and also my first mod. Adds South Australia to the game, complete with it's own flag. It's economy has been changed to what it is now i.e. It gets a good supply of metals and rare materials, a little oil and a little energy. I have had one problem though, I don't know how to get rid of the units in other parts of Australia, so that has to be done manually. Industry has been increased in Adelaide, Mount Gambier and Lyndhurst. That makes it a little more powerful than it should be, but it's necessary for playability. Next I will add other states, and they will have the option at the start of being annexed, puppeted, allied or starting a civil war. The AI will have a tendency towards annexation, but the others will occasionally occur. The borders aren't exactly correct, but they're the best that can be made with the vanilla provinces.
To install, copy and paste over, but backup first. It was designed for HoI3:SF, but should work for HoI3. It includes files for ICE mod compatibility, since I play that. Just replace the localization file and the countries file with the one named ICE. It works for me, but it might not work for others, and I will try and fix it.

Feedback will be appreciated. If anyone wants to help, that would be nice.

Units are found in ../HOI3/history/units. You can switch them around to your new nation if you want, or just delete their entries. If you want to move them around on the map, then you'll need to change their province IDs. Province IDs are found in ../HOI3/localisation in the file province_names.csv.

Thankyou for the info, but I found that myself. What I need help with though is making the game know which units file belongs to which faction.

What do you mean? All of a nation's starting troops are dealt with in the units folder of the history folder. If you mean forcing certain nations be in a faction at the beginning, then you'll need to go to history/countries and find the country you want to tinker with. From there, at the very top of the file you can add the command "join_faction = allies". You can change "allies" to be "axis" or "comintern", depending on what you want to do.

If you're talking about the tech trees ICE has, then you'd have to go dig through the technology files. I can't help you there, as I'm an HPP modder and don't play ICE.
