    Default China Warns USA

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4781656.stm

China's foreign minister has urged the US, Taiwan's biggest arms provider, to take "concrete measures" against any Taiwanese bids for independence.

Bah china is a sissy country, good for nothing. I dont think they understand war yet. Perhaps if by going to war, and getting beat, theyll learn their place. Im not really for USA, i honor China's right to claim it, but jeez do something about it finally. -Leon

CHINA doesnt understand warfare? China?! Come on...

Bah, here we go with the nuke discussion again. "If china nuke's us then Britian will nuke China and China would nuke this and we would nuke that and ...nuke nuke nuke..."

Bah! Can we just get away from all this nuke discussion? Its pointless.

Anyway, I say now is the time that the U.S.A. should work to appease China, and China should work to appease the U.S.A., if we want to maintain good relations...which is something I doubt, honestly. Plotting warfare is what this current bush administration is guilty of, but even they must know that China is not Iraq or Iran.

If the US nukes them, then you have Russia nuking US. And the Europe would step in... and then were all dead
Surely Russia and Europe would condemn it publicaly and be relieved the 'China problem' has been solved for several generations at least in private, and hope the US werent about to get nuke happy but start doodling lists of countries that may benefit from a good nuking. As for Chinas economy it would cause a slump and shortage of cheap crap for a while but plenty of countries more then happy to take up the slack both in the east and in Europe.

They are not ready yet to do something. They would only do something now if someone else did first. They are a patient people willing to wait for the right time to act.

the side effects from nuking can be pretty severe though, we want to get rid of Chinas overpopulation problem, not underpopulate Asia

Replenish with immigrants from 'free' countries who can take over all the land and exploit the remaining native survivors.

Not really, nukes as leave you with the headacke of radioactive fall out. Use Neutron bombs instead. Ok that's pretty sad but if you want a qucik fix soultion......

It's quite comical watch China and the US argue, both of their economies as so closely bound to each other it won't develop into anything more then a war of words.

To further that point the US navy is the worlds 4th biggest army in it own right. I also heard that in 1990 Iraq was the 5th biggest army in the world as well, but look as how the US easily cut through them. Iraqi and Chinese armies aren't wholly different as both are supplied with Russian tech.

So tahnks for restating my point that the Chinese Army is smaller than that of USA?

Not exactly a big surprise. Both sides will continue to exchange "warnings" until one of the countries feels secure enough to do something about it, which won't be for a while because of how interconnected the US and Chinese economies are.

Which is going to remain for a very long time, China needs US market, US needs Chinese goods though I will say its probably alot easier to 'find' a new region of the world to start making stuff we need then it is for China to find a comparable market. I vote we make Brazil the new China!
