You will need to add a GPU to it if you're going to get that one.

Less than 200 dollars for a good one, little over that for a very good one.

I'm seeing no more than $700 worth of parts in that $750 PC so you'd be better off to build it yourself. Oh, if you went with that PC you'd no doubt have to upgrade the PSU as well so ya... build it yourself.

    500 watt PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139027

And your choice of computer case. There are $30 of rebates to be had there so that should fit inside your budget nicely.

If your budget were higher you could get a better motherboard but that one would work just fine.

id honestly suggest P67 board for overclocking since. a 2500k can hit 4.5ghz on air with most hitting 4.4 without even touching any voltages.

    depending on the motherboard yes.

you dont need a super high end dual gpu x8x8 sli xfire supporting P67, you just need a P67 board because overclocking = no go on other boards far as i rememer P67 and the new Z68 are the only boards that offer overclocking and same goes for the CPU you need a K series Intel cpu with the new Sandybridge chips because you cant overclock by upping the FSB anymore.

so for maximum performance to cost id take a 2500k + P67,

but if you cant afford that then a simple 2500 + the board ChaobSiroc posted will work just fine as well.

I was assuming no overclocking. A 2500 is 3.7Ghz. already. To get a P67 board and the 2500k you spend $50-$55 which would exceed his budget and not increase his gaming FPS enough to justify it IMO. If he increased his budget that would be the next logical upgrade over the current design however.

4 cores. Most games are doing well just to utilize 2 of the 4 cores fully. DX11 titles will use more but I'm not aware of any game that benefits more than 1-4 FPS from an overclocked i5-2500k.

Ahhhh, it'll be nice to have a little wiggle room then with processor speed.
