Weird bugs

Hi! I've just installed S.P.Q.R. 8.0 on my version 1.5 Rome Total War, and some weird things are happening- first, the city happiness levels are not shown, and second the Senate gives me a mission to capture one of my own cities!Also,when I launch the game, the senate mission screen appears only for a couple of seconds and then vanishes.

Any ideas what may be causing this? Thanks a lot in advance

HAppiness is removed on purpose so you have to micromanage every town.
Senate missions are there just cause they have to be there, simply do not bother yourself with them.

Not a bug, purposedly removed things.
