This is something that we're addressing in update 5.0, as you can see here:

Great to see that you are contributing to the mod however, I'm sure that the fans who can't wait to have proper feldgrau uniforms will find your submod a substantial improvement!

Simply awesome. You could merge this with other submods, like Hinkel's, and make a mega-add on until 5.0 comes.

For everyone's interest, the fact that German uniforms are currently unhistorically black dates back several months when the first atlas was created, so the inaccuracy is not intentional (in fact, if I remember correctly, German uniforms had the appropriate feldgrau colour in the updates before 4.2 or 4.5 ).

Nice job, but I think that the green looks too much like olive-green in my opinion.

Maybe you should try to make it look like real feldgrau, which looks like this:

did you look at the picture with the drawings of the units? there you can see, that in world war 1 germans used this variation of the feldgrau color. the colorsample you are showing here, is the feldgrau the whermacht used in WW2

look at the picture in the attachment, there you have it

I still think that feldgrau has never been so olive-greenish as it is a defined colour, so it wouldn't change from the green tone you use to the actual feldgrau we all know.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variati...green#Feldgrau

This is exactly the variation of the colour I find in every book about the first world war.

    From the german wikipedia:

Im Ersten Weltkrieg nuancierte das deutsche Feldgrau noch in ein mattes Graugrün [3], das dem RAL-Farbton 7009 entspricht
    Translation:

In the first world war, the german feldgrau tinted to a flat grey-green that matches the RAL-Colour 7009.
And this RAL-Colour is exactly what I have posted.

    German wiki also says
da man festgestellt hatte, dass der feldgraue Stoff sehr schnell verblich, was die Soldaten besonders in der Nacht auffällig machte. So wurde jetzt eine farbechtere steingraue Färbung gewählt.
what means something like: as it had been found that the field-gray cloth faded very quickly what made the soldiers at the night particularly striking, a more natural color called "stone gray" was chosen

Yes I have, but it's still the TGW standards.

Does this sub-mod change the uniforms table?

If yes, it needs to be named before GreatWar46 alphabetically, so for example, "German_Uniforms" should work fine, while "sub-mod" would not. This is because 4.6 is a movie pack, and this causes some unforeseen complications with sub-mods and fixes.

We will release a full compiled version of TGW soon, it is highly recomended to install.
