Bit of a random event i discovered playing tonight. Its 183bc and i'm at war with the senate owing to faction leader being too popular and i invaded the roman province just instead of the senate defending rome they just sent all of there armys toward Genua and massila without engaging any of my armies. This is a little bit strange also i have just conquered rome using 3 legions and all the senate armies are still on the map. Does the senate now have two regions in 8.0? As i cant see how there armies can still exist otherwise.

i dont think they have. you need to kill them all.

Although Rome will declare war on you (no matter what), they will not attack you unless you cross over their borders.

Senate never goes on war with you unless conditions are met really. Tis rather weird situation he?

Its not being at war with them thats wierd its the fact that all the senate armies are marching away from rome thats a bit wierd. Was just wondering if any one else had this happen to them.

If Gauls or someone push your line tough enough, yeah ive seen it.

Are the Senate armies crossing over the borders and attacking you? If not, there is nothing to worry about. You will not have to fight them untill you invade Rome's borders.

Oh i just relied this when i moved my armies north and went into rome territory an di got attacked....

Is there anyway to ensure a crasfire cause I accidentally moved two generals next to Rome trying to go north. I saved it just after this and I didn't have enough movement to take them out nor could I disband them and will the senate go further than Rome and attack me? I'm myself cause my cities arent heavily fortified.

You will have to look up some command prompt commands, There is one for making peace, but you will have to look it up.
