Which one is better MP wise?

Shogun is nice, but has a very lose community lobby wise. Rome is very nice and has a very tightly packed community.

Rome is clearly the superior game. This is like comparing chess to draughts. Oh the very thought of it, hahahahahah.

I'd go for Rome in terms of ease of control and unit fluidity, but from what I've seen STW2 looks like a very fun game with an enjoyable campaign and the ability to customize your army. I doubt I'll be playing STW2 in the foreseeable future though, since my desktop died a few months ago and I'll be moving about looking for a job next year.

I sort of see Rome as the counterstrike equivalent, and STW2 as COD. both are good fun games in their own right

Rome, the gameplay is less cinematic and feels more like a game. Rome is also more modifiable. Will buy Rome 2 when it comes out.

rome is never getting boring,it is the best total war by far.it is a very enjoyable game with great campaign and battles.i like all total war games(exept maybe empire) but rome is the king
