Reverse Rascism/Sexism

iim not a rascist,or a sexist, and i completely approve of native american/black/asian/hispanic/women's rights month

but if they get their own months,why shouldn't whites and men get their own months

i mean just because a certain group hasn't suffered as much as another, it doesn't mean that life for the former's has been a piece of cake

First off, the title of the thread is offensive. There is no such thing as 'reverse racism' or 'reverse sexism', there is only racism and sexism.

Secondly, every group has suffered. You can't quantify the amount of suffering a group has recieved. In fact, the word 'slave' comes from the word 'Slav', a Caucasian ethnic group. Everyone and therefore every type of person in this world has been unjustly treated.

Native American, African American, Asian American, and Hispanic American Months are in and of themselves racist, simply because they exclude the celebration of other racial types. And simply implying that there is a need for these months is Eurocentric as well. It's all very ironic and sad.

Human beings are fractal in nature. This is the cause of racism and sexism. It's a biological function and there was reason behind it, but there isn't any longer. It's just pathetic, petty crap in the modern era.

Plus Hispanics (and people of Middle Eastern descent for that matter) are mostly Caucasian (with limited Asiatic/Negroid ancestry depending on where they originated), racism between Whites, Hispanics, and Middle Eastern people is utterly idiotic. As is all racism.

Even though the OP is a bit too trollish for my liking...

Think of it like a catching up manoeuvre. Affirmative action and minority months are in place as temporary measures to level the playing field after a prolonged period of discrimination.
The possible problem though, is that these temporary measures are either becoming permanent or completely missing the goal.

Sounds good. For a whole month you don't have to work, just get a government cheque. Don't have to mow the lawn or put out the garbage. Just go to the pub, watch sports and drink beer.

as said before there is only racism and sexism.. no reverse. I am hispanic and I can tell you now I know other hispanics who don't say nice and loving things about white folks.. so all races are guilty of it. I personally think there shouldn't be a "month" for anyone.

Because whatever country you are from has problems associated with those groups evidently, or because the rest of the months without a specific dedication are therefore allocated white men. I didn't know any of those existed tbh and I don't much care.
