And I can't use WIFI.Do I need a wireless card to use it or is just my house may not have it?

Um go into device manager and see if you can find WIFI CARD OR WIRELESS INTERNET DEVICE ETC AND SEE IF ITS ENABLED.

of course it has WIFI, usually their is a switch on the side of the laptop that can turn it on and off

I dont understand i thought the question was more complex asking if his wireless adapter was enabled so he could connect to the wireless network ? so this is just how do i connect to wireless WTF ?

When i turn my wifi on it asks if i want to connect to a network or sometimes it comes up and says wireless network is off etc if you dont see anything or if you dont see anything to connect to yes you dont have a wireless card in your laptop this is the case im sure or you just need to go into device manager and disable then re enable.

If you know no one has wifi in your area then its fine if you know people have wifi like neighbours or someone close you got a problem.

If you have a wireless wifi card then no if it shows wireless connections that you can connect to then you have a card pal.

It's sad to say in this day of technology, I know hardly anything about computers or the internet.I do not have a wireless router, so I suppose that may be the issue.This is my first laptop, so I am sorry, that I lack any experience with it or using the internet with it.

That's perfectly fine. Just ignore any of these lousy insults. If you don't have a wireless router, then you can't have a wireless connection. It's that simple. If you want to get wireless, just talk to your provider, or at least a family member or friend that knows more about this than you. Its not too difficult a process.
