Default Difference between Complete and Chronicles?

Hey guys, I downloaded the demo for EU3 Complete, and am not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. The Let's Play I watched seemed different, and I can only assume that's because the demo is for EU3 Complete and no the Chronicles pack on Steam. Chronicles includes Heir to the Throne and Divine Wind.

What I want to know is, what do these add? Are the changes major? Is it substantially better with them?

    Any help would be appreciated.

heir to the throne redid some military balancing iirc (cavalry hordes are less effective), it did some other things too but im not sure what.

devine wind did alot with the east, giving the hordes distincct play styles, adding japanese factions, adding options to china, giving it a victoria style map, and it redid the building trees or at least the tab. The game is better with the addons, although its not necesary to get them. Imo heir to the throne is great, although i never got napoleons ambition which i belive was the previous one. I'd only going to switch to devine wind once its both on sale and i've finished a few of the campaigns i've started.

And the demo is lacking, i forget whats different but when i played it a few things were missing or not complete, like the colonial system, in the demo you send men, they start to die off and your colonies constantly fall apart, while in the real game native revolts are pretty rare and your colonies will grow by themselves (although slowly)

Thank you sir. I did notice that about colonies, they seemed to be more trouble then they were worth.
