Can't start "simple" mods (RTW)

Hello,

I have just started having a problem with those mods that you install by simply extracting a compressed file (ZIP or whatever), like those that don't make use of an installer. Could there be any logical explanation to this? It has become quite annoying, as I can't play those simple yet creative mods that have been coming out lately. It barely gets to the first loading screen when I get an errorless CTD (Rome: Total War.exe has stopped working).

My OS is Win7 64 bits, if it helps.

Are the mods modfoldered?

Oh, yeah, forgot to say that.

I've checked the target line, and they are all okay. I usually just make a new shortcut out of the existing RTW.exe and then add the code (or however it's called) for the mod (and -show_err, of course)

I'll be damned! Seems that somehow my export_descr_unit is EB's, wonder how it got there. Thanks a lot irishron, I feel kinda bad I made you have to post on this noobish mistake
