TWmadman and I have been discussing this. The only way to "fix" this issue is to create a UI using the only left over culture slot, the mesoamerican culture slot.
is that culture bieng saved for something else? if that is so why not take another culture? like border princes for example, those guys are probably the most unplayed faction in CoW
Because the Border Princes share the same culture as the Empire. The mesoamerican culture is the only one that is not being used and no more can be added since the mod is at it's hardcoded limit.
then I guess the only thing possible is to simply redo the elven UI somehow that it suites both factions equally.
Edit: or make a launcher that you can run before playing with the dark elves, this launcher would replace the high elf UI with dark elf UI. I believe this is the best compromise.

Well, this was made for 1.31 and it will most likely wipe out the Border Princes' UI from the game, so I wouldn't recommend using this.
I don't understand, how can the dark elves have a different music than high elves and yet still have the same culture.
Music isn't tied to culture![]()
well that sucks this destroys the motivation i had to make custom settlements for both high elves and dark elves...*pout*
