Crash with TGW...

hi guys... i got a little problem...

ive downloaded TGW... the latest version... i unpack the rar and try to install it by the launcher ... it says when i klick on install

Error

The Mod files that should have downloaded with this installer cannot be located.

Please make sure this installer is the original download folder and restart.

i have only unpack the file and make the folder on my desktop when i klick on the icon i move to the folder where is the installer....

after this i try to install it manually like in the readme....

i started game and make battle ... i could choose units and things like that.... i make it and start battle.... then when its 50% loaded my game crashes "Napoleon Total War stopped working"

The current version is pretty buggy, so you should wait for 4.6. All the major bugs will be gone in that version.
Iv'e heard it will be out within the next two weeks.

Try this: NTW Data Checker

Check if there are any missing/conflicting files. Also double-check your user.script to make sure that it says mod "GreatWar45.pack" (not exactly that, but you get the idea)

Are you getting the GW logo on the front? And have you tried playing various different factions and units?

i think this will not help me^^ because ... i installed game new... i get it today from a friend.... i installed it and start it one time... because he didnt show the ntw folder in user - appdata - Roaming - The Creative Assembly .. then i try to install with the installer ... and get the error ... and then i make manually and i try to make an battle... i dont know maybe its the map?? because i choose a map from NTW vanilla

Well assuming you have TGW pack properly activated (which can be noticed by new unit cards or the logo on the front), there must be some conflicting file or a corruption of the download. Although 4.5 is very buggy, there's no reason why none of the factions should work. Perhaps try sweden or some other minor faction, to rule out the possibility of a model error.

Oh, also, have you played NTW without TGW before, to see whether its the mod or whether the game is working at all?

yes i played it before ^^ and i have played it now

but when i have the mod installed i get crash ... when i remove files ... my vanilla game works fine on ultra settings on 40-50 frames without errors crashes bugs or laggs...

Alright, so do you see the logo, do you see unit cards, and does sweden work?

i see logo i see everything i see unit cards i see maps ... i can choose everything ... and nothing works..... i dont know what i can do

Are you updated to NTW 1.5?

Does the Campaign work?

I really have no idea what it could be, maybe you should just download and install TGW from scratch and see if that helps
