    Default Sony sucks

So after the PSN had been down for several weeks, after they discovered the personal information of 77,000,000+ users had been stolen, now a credit card phishing scam was discovered on Sony's servers. Remember this is after PSN has been restored and Sony said everything is back to normal. Also remember Sony spent oodles of cash supposedly fixing their servers security and now this crops up just a few days later.

There is no "epic fail" picture on the internet that would adequately describe how epically Sony is failing at basic security. This is what they get for axing linux support on the PS3 and taking all of the non-destructive jailbreakers to court.

They probably shouldnt have revoked their promise to allow linux to be installed onto the system and modded. Once they took that away they should have known the hackers were coming for them.

I for one, appreciate anonymous. They keep companies and govts honest and if they arent honest they punish them. Good God its about time someone put these people to the fire they think they can get away with murder. And before the information revolution they could.

Now the game is different. The game is now not who controls the armies or the oil or any of that other crap. Its who has the information and who knows how to protect and use that information. And both Govts and Companies epic fail at that.

Its about time someone put Sony in their place.

For anyone worried about your CC or personal information.. all the major credit bureaus have been hacked several times and all information stolen. About 1.8 billion people worth of personal information. They already had the information this just makes sony look bad.

If you have a number, an identification anything, thats ever been on a computer. odds are its been stolen. The question is whether someone uses that info or not.

You make hackers seem oddly conspiratorial.
