Help Needed!!

I am modding text files in notepad with "show_err". When I get an error, the window indicates, for example, the error in "line 3861, column 5". Is there any way in notepad to either see the line numbers, or have it bring you to the line you indicate, so that you can find the error in the thousands of lines so as to fix it. Otherwise, it is often impossible to locate it.

Hi there, Checkers. Here is your solution:

1. Open the notepad file needing editing.

2. Go under Format and confirm that Word Wrap is disabled. If not, make it so.

3. Go under Edit, and select Go To.

4. Input the line number and hit OK. It'll jump your cursor to the line.

control g also works, kinda like control f linds words, control g finds lines.
