Hi, i want edit the range of the units, it's possible?
Second which is better weapon the rifle, the musket or the carbine?

look for lines stat_pri in EDU.
It looks like this:

stat_pri 4, 2, bodkin_arrow_prof, 180, 30, missile, missile_mechanical, piercing, none, 0, 0.7

"180" is the range of missiles units.

I suppose you are thinking about game not reality. If it is true - it depends on descr_projectile.txt.
