Longest Campaign Ever

I am still trying to complete my first RTW Campaign which I have been playing about 5 monthts.

I am playing as the Julii.

After looking at many posts, and reading several sets of Iron Man Rules, I resolved to play as slowly as possible.

So far, the year is 76 bc, and I have about 30 provinces. Egypt and Briton are the last remaining powers.

I am now at peace again a building on my gains in Germany and norther France.

I am pretty popular with the People, but also pretty popular with the Senate.

What is the longest campaign anyone has every played?

I just received the message from the Plebes that they would welcome me marching on Rome.

But currently I only have 4 Heavy Legions and 5 Light Legions spead out over all my territories.

How long can I wait before the Civil War starts?

i have played to the end date on SPQR 5.0, now i have to do the same with 6.0.

well it's quite sick but i played until almost 350 AD with armenia VH/VH..spending the first two centurys protecting my small kingdom (parthian and armenian provinces) + cherosennessos) against egyptians who wwre extremly superior (outside my capital i always had at least 5 famous battles were my cowardly horse archers ( never enhaged in hand to hand combat) protected me from destruction...then finaly when i got my hand on many catapract archers the egyptians crumbled and then i conqured all of the middle east.....i wish i had screnshoots...... when i started war with the romans they had the biggest armies i have ever seen....the steppes of Ukrain were black the bruti had like 20 full stack armies marching on me that way but i took the seaway and grecce fell fast..and then one day muy littlebrother called me at work and told me he computer crashed ...that was the end to my personal epic tale...i dreamed about the game every night.............this game destroys my school carrier

ps: usually i would have given up to egypt if it wasn't because i was armenian
