Rebelion instead of revolution

hi all, im playing as Savoy and i conquerd all of italy. so then i changed rome to my capital (using this great tutorial http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=272139) i then engineered a revolution in to rome to try and become a constitutional monarchy but instead of a revolution starting it was only a rebellion !!!

does anyone know whats gone wrong?

its not not a standart faction i think thats why you have a problem

ok thanks , i might do some testing with vanilla factions to see if it still happens

tested it a few seconds ago, with the original captail it works just fine, went all the way from absolute over republic to constitutinal monarchy. guess the problem is the new capital you edited.

This is what you need to do-

go to the esf editor and go to the regions array. go to Central Italy (or whatever that places name is) and change the emerging nation from the "papal_states" to "piedmont_savoy"

(MAKE SURE YOU DONT SPELL IT WRONG AND USE LOWERCASE LETTERS FOR THE WHOLE THING)

Also, change this value in same section in piedmont_savoy (or revilution can be in Rome and Savoy).

Just wanted to post my thanks to you, Aelita. I've been trying to figure out for a few days how to get a revolution as Louisiana but couldn't figure it out. Just did like you said and tested it out and it worked wonderfully!
