Can't get it to run

Hi,
I downloaded DarthMod 6.8 + 6.9 patch + fix. I installed all into approriate directories (first manually and then automaticly). Imperial campaign is open to play. But when I try to run the mod and click on "Imperial Campaign", I get this message: "Please select an item from the list". And nothing happens.
So I backed-up needed files, uninstalled the game, deleted the directory, deleted registry keys, installed RTW, BI and BI 1.6 patch. Loaded DarthMod, but still the same error message.
What is strange - in options in upper right corner I get version "1.3", is it normal?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Update 1: When I deleted "options bi" from "descr_strat.txt", I can get to faction selection menu, but clicking to any crashes the game.
Update 2: I activated show_err option (why have not I done so before? :) , the result is:

"Script Error in data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt at line 26, Column 1

Expected start date of campaign or battle"

Update 3: Finally comented out "options bi" than I was able to run the game. But it CTD after few minutes of play without an error message. I give up.

1.3 = not correct/it should write either 1.5/1.6 according to what you have available.
If you use a cracked version.....you should know....get the correct crack for appropriate patch.

Do not do manual installation if you do not know what to do.
If you do what I say in instructions I provide it should play as all others do play.
I think it is the reason I told you.
Also try to patch 1.3 then 1.5 to a clean install.

Well, no cracked version. Brand new EXE file, even with updated icon. OK, there's a problem, not with your mod, therefore I apologize if an impression come out that it's your mod's fault
The problem also is, that after clean, clean instal even BI started to do the same problems, althou when I installed it on "dirty" installation (many mods installed, uninstalled, integrated etc.), it worked OK.

Solved: I just had to install the patch again. When installing it for the first time it seems the patch is unable to replace former exe files. Uh. Better burn this thread
