    Default Ok, so...

I wanted to uninstall Alexander and LOTR and my computer won't do it. It goes through the whole uninstall process and the game remains.

    Help?

I do not know, the uninstall worked to me. Anyway you can delete it manually as phobos said. There are just some txt files in main data folder, the program jsgme.exe, and the folder "Mods"
I was trying to help you to fix the graphic issues in the other topic... I wish you more luck if you install it again in the future.

You wanna know the funny thing? I have tried manually deleting things as well and they WON'T LEAVE.

Earlier I tried getting rid of BitTorrent cause I never used it...and I went through the uninstall process three times and it was still there.

Run a virus scan on the folder cause a virus might be holding it back. When i was uninstalling Fraps, it was still there and then I tried to manually deleting/removing it, but it wouldn't let me. Later on I virus scan my PC and a virus was found on the Fraps folder, no wonder its wasn't working.

I have a bigger problem now.

I decided to completely reset my computer to factory conditions for various reasons. I installed all RTW games, and I download the mod. After it installs and I try to do the second process, I can't find the installation at all. When I type it into search, all I find is "uninstall LOTR TW".

    What is going on?

what second process? after installing just run the shortcut that it is created after 2.08 is installed?
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.

Nevermind, the problem was my fault.

Okay, so now I'm trying to change the preferences and it is saying

    "Cannot create the C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome-Total War\alexander\lotr\preferences\preferences.txt file.

Make sure that the path and file name are correct."

So then it lets me try to save anyway, and it asks if I want to overwrite, and I say yes, and the first message pops up again.

Kind of annoying cause before I completely rebooted my computer changing the preferences was as easy as changing and saving. Now I can't do that.
