Lots of different .exe files not working

Whenever I play EU3, after a while I get a message saying eu3game.exe has stopped working, and it shuts the game down.

The same thing happens with RTW and rtw.exe, and the medieval 2 one.

And even internet explorer shuts down with this .exe has stopped working message.

It is very annoying.

Any idea what to do?

Running out of memory is what used to blame it on.

Well i have 2GM RAM which should be fine.

Althoguh I know the RAM to be faulty since it cased BSOD sometimes...

ha...you've probably answered your own question. Replace the RAM with non-faulty gear nay? What's the info you're getting from the blue screens of death in terms of error codes?

I used to run into it always pushing minimum ram specs as far back as DOS. I used to get them in DOS, too, just trying to get just that one more turn. Same with 3.1.1, 95, 98, ME, XP, but have had no problems with 7 and 4 gigs in Medieva2.
