Default build fortifications in field battle

    Hi,
Is it possible to build battle fortifications on a normal field battle? I'm talking about trenches, mine fields etc. If yes,how can i make them buildable?
    Thanks

Yes, you can, but only at the start of a battle and when your army has been immobile for 2 turns (or maybe three). You will see the fortifications on the campaign map, but lose them if you move.
Line infantry, militia and guards can build trenches, and also Frisian horses (those spikey things).
You can build mines with light infantry, and improved mines with riflemen.

Thanks, but I expressed myself badly:it's not what i want to know.
I want to build the battle fortifications when an army defending the field, even if the army was immoble for less than 2 turns.
    Is it possible?

I don't know of any way of reducing that time. My guess is that it's hardcoded.

i no how to do this! do you have db editor? go to unit abilities tables, copy the earthworks and fougasse(kind of mine) to your own table and change the first and the third column to False. now you should be able to build them in custom battle and at the beginning of every campaign battle.
attention: dont do that with gabionade. the cannons wont be able to shot without gabionades!!!!!
