    Default Unit charge animation and other questions

    so here is the deal there were these previous halberd units that i had that had phalanx animations but i switched it with Scheldit(or wtv its called) so now these halberd units are able to make spike/halberd circle around themselves which was my aim from the begging. but there are a couple of problems.

    first how do make these units charge with their halberd down instead of upward (they charge with halberds point up and when they engage they bring them down) without messing up with the attack animations. the halberds have a spear point and an axe so the attack animation they have now fits perfectly they bring down the halberd like an axe on the enemy then stab with the point of their halberd. also is there anyway to have a few units get thrown back because of charge?

    two, what is this Schieldit formation anyway? when i am not in that form i completely decimate the other unit but when i activate it i get owned pretty hard. the opponents are infantry swordsmen with almost half the stats i do (i am testing an elite unit vs average core unit).

    I believe higher unit mass will cause enemies to get thrown back from a charge. I'm not completely sure about that, but it might be something you want to play around with.

    Are you talking about Schiltrom? That is an anti-cavalry formation that some spearmen can use. It's very good against cavalry, but gets decimated versus infantry.
