Correct me if I'm wrong, but are these all hardcoded?
- Amount of resistance to foreign occupation (13 or 30)
- Speed how this resistance fades (1 per turn)
- Military crackdown repression (6)
- Speed how this fades (1 per turn)
- Order how unhappiness happens (protests, damage building, revolt)
- Directions how revolutions go (absolute monarchy -> absolute monarchy (upper) / republic (lower); republic -> republic (lower) / constitutional monarchy (upper); constitutional monarchy -> absolute monarchy (upper) / constitutional monarchy (lower) )
These are surprisingly not hardcoded:
- Which social classes you get in each government
- Happiness from religion pairs, industrialization, entertainment buildings, people in government, government type, player vs ai based on difficulty
What kind of units spawn seems to be based on some db tables iirc as well.
I'm trying to figure out if I can create more revolutions without making the game essentially unplayable (due to -30 resistance), but so far the only "solution" is giving player huge +bonus to counteract resistance (as ai doesn't expand much anyway). This sucks.
