After a few errors I finally got RS2 to work... at least to the main menu.
I selected the Romans started with the barbarian invasion disc.
When I try to start a campaign, it asks me which "EXE" I choose the barbarian invasion alexander one. then the star wars type of paragrahps come dramatic story etc etc.
Now at the bottom it says "Click here to.... etc" I press that option. Then I go to click the arrow head or spearhead to the bottom right of the screen. but every time a window appears telling me "please select an item"... no matter if I wait or anything I can't seem to start it. When Is elect the item it gets bright yellow... not sure what I did wrong. If it is in the first 10 pages I am so sorry
please redirect me to it did not see it on my way in.

Version being used is Rome Total War barbarian Invasion. patched with 1.6
Installed not in the programs file fodler but in a folder ina different locations just in case.
2gb Ram, 250 gb hardrive.
2.5 ghz. GeForce Nvidia 8600 GT Video card.
Played RTw before other mods RS1 etc etc. read the previous known issues. it says is an issue found usually in BI. Its patched. Tried it again with just RTW patched with 1.5. Nothing stays in an endless loop.

Re: unable to start campaign:
I presume you did see the post I made in this thread for the 'select an item from the list' error: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=386590
Which version is shown on the top right hand side of the option menu?

Re: unable to start campaign:
Has to be Version 1.5 (RTW) or 1.6 (BI).
