You can't activate AA (you need to have the higher shader models activated to select AA) or AA makes no difference? If it's the latter, welcome to everyone else's experience.
Just for kicks go here on your hard drive:
C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\logs\
If you have a file called gfx.log open it and see what it says. If not... I don't know. Regarding the gfx.log file, a lot of people are finding that the game is downgrading their graphics, despite their manual settings, to increase performance. If you have that file it will tell you if it's doing that and what settings it is lowering.
Yeah I have all the settings on the highest yet it looks worse then what it was pre patch.
Looked at the file u told me to look at and this is what it says
Downgrading, Over budget by 502 MB
Downgraded Anti-Aliasing to 3
Downgraded Anti-Aliasing to 2
Downgraded Anti-Aliasing to 1
Disabled Anti-Aliasing
Disabled Depth of Field
Disabled SSAO
Downgraded Shadows to 3
Downgraded Shadows to 2
Disabled HDR
Downgraded Sky Options to 2
Downgraded Water Details to 2
Disabled Distortion
Downgraded Texture Quality to 2
How do I tell it to stop

You put the shader model to 5, or whatever the highest is. My game looks awesome with everything maxed, double the ultra unit sizes and 4x AA.Gotta love my rig.

What's your graphics card? Also go to your preferences.script file and find this:
gfx_video_memory 0; # gfx_video_memory <int>, Override available video memory (bytes) #
Change that to this gfx_video_memory -2147483648; # gfx_video_memory <int>, Override available video memory (bytes) #

I have a 1 gig card and told it I have 2 gigs (2048000000). Although I didn't put a negative sign in front of it as stated above. Not sure how that will affect things.
Let us know what happens.
