    Why release it in march though?

    Though I like the idea of a WW1 Movie, and all the more that it's taking a less obvious, blood and guts, approach.

    Regardless of accuracy, so long as the basic reality of it (That they actually laid down their arms to celebrate christmas) is achieved, I think it will be doing it's job, especially to convey such a moral.

    Both heartwarming and a little depressing at the same time.

    It was probably released around Christmastime, but it takes at least a few months for foreign films to reach the US.

    That story is timeless. It's always good to see those men cast off the blinders of nationalism and to extend good will to one another.

    I don't cry during movies, but this one almost did it for me. It is probably my favorite movie. Highly recommended.
