    What?

You have claimed that God exists, that she knows about suffering, wants to reduce it and can reduce it. But now you say you don't think that there is any higher purpose which explains why people die horribly of painful diseases. Why then does God allow it? Surely, a God which knows about, wants to stop and can stop suffering would put an end to pointless suffering.
God just uses diseases as many of the tools to complete the cycle of life. I wouldnt mind suffering through a horrible disease to reach the rewards of heaven.

3 direct hits and one bitten bullet.

    15. The serial rapist Peter Sutcliffe had a firm, inner conviction that God wanted him to rape and murder prostitutes. He was, therefore, justified in believing that he was carrying out God's will in undertaking these actions.

If 7 were true 15 would be as well. Zero bites, zero hits on my part, surprised that hasn't yet been the trend here.

2 bitten bullets. And I guessed on 75% of them, seeing as a couldn't comprehend many of them. But I remember the serial rapist on a history channel thing saying that he did it because he was told by God... wierd.

I bit a bullet, and all I got was a lousy TPM medal of distinction.

Oh well, at least I survived without any hits, so my thoughts on God aren't perfect, but they're not bad it seems (using this system as a judge of course).

Interesting... I emerged unscathed, even though one question made almost no sense and two of them were almost the same but I answered them differently.

Yea, I made it through fine, but I thought some of it made little sense and the arguments were a tad shaky in some areas.

I got hit once or something. I think the computer acted stupid though...

I said that it is justifiable to believe in something if you have a strong, inner conviction of it; however, I also said that God had no effect on the human moral code of conduct. Thus, when saying that that serial rapist was not justified because of his belief, it gave me a hit even though my answers would reflect my belief that God and moral codes have nothing to do with eachother, and thus belief in God doesn't excuse violating a moral code.

I don't think it was just that, the rapist could have other inner convictions thus justifying his actions.

Bit two bullets because the questions were not precise enough in some cases.

and true/false isnt exactly enough to justify our viewpoints

but it was a great game

Goddamnit, I was perfect for the first two parts, but I got my ass kicked at the end.

Yeah, but they're suggesting that an inner convinction justifying God somehow blanks out a moral code unaffected by God or personal beliefs.

It was a good game, but I agree. I went through it a few times trying different 'modes.' Some of the logic seems faulty due to the questions being too vague, general, and prone to misinterpretation when combined in steps. Some variables are already presupposed within the questions. Other than that, it was thought-provoking and interesting.

    Thanks!

Yes the person has obviously never heard of Memetics, and the test strays little outside of popular thought.

I made it taking took two direct hits, but the logic used in many of the questions is faulty.

God wants as little suffering as possible in the world, so if suffering exists god does not exist? It completely ignores the concept of gods intention of free will.

This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder.
