    Default Is there a charge cool down?

    i have heard that there is a cool down where after a unit gets it's charge bonus it can't activate that chage bonus again for a set period of time. anyone know is there is any truth to this?

    no, but charge is heavily influenced by a few of things;
    1) Formation tightness - a tight formation charging into enemy ranks is far more devastating than units coming in peicemeal
    2) Width of charge - A charge by a unit that is about as wide as the opponent you are charging will be more effective than a narrow charge
    3) Speed of charge - units running downhill gain a speed bonus, those going up it lose speed. This is reflected in the power of the charge in both circumstances
    4) Time between attack issued and engagement of enemy - this one is kinda annoying actually. For example, a unit of Yari Cav can be told to engage an enemy, however, if you decide to switch targets to one adjacent at the last second it can wreck the impetus of the charge. I would say it also takes about 3 to maybe 4 at a push max seconds for a unit to gain its' perfect charge impetus. Any charge connecting before that is weaker, any longer and speed is already maxed so you are probably just wasting stamina.

    Copy pasta directly from Hedge Knight's thread:

    charge_cool_down_time 10
    You have ten seconds between each charge timeout and when you can charge a unit again.
