A former Bahrain legislator and Palestine campaigner has warned that Iranian plans to dispatch a flotilla to Bahrain in show of solidarity with the “oppressed people” of the majority Shiite country would be considered an act of war if carried out.

Nasser Al Fadhala told Bahrain’s Gulf Daily News that it was unacceptable for Iran to use tactics with Bahrain similar to those used by human rights activists in trying to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza.

“They are using the same idea of sending an aid flotilla that was used last year in Gaza,” he said.

The Saudis are pussies, they wouldnt have attacked Saddam on their own, when he was in Kuwait. What makes you think they would fight Iran over some small insignificant country.

USA and Israel would attack Iran and say they are protecting Saudi oil wells.They are waiting for an excuse to attack Iran.At the end of the day the majority of Bahrain dont want a monarchy rulling them.They want a change like Libya and many people have been shot dead and jailed just like in Libya with no support from the west.A foreign army was brought in to keep the people under the thumb.

Depends on the scope of the war, in the present case it is more likely a limited Naval operation : Iran try to escort ''peace flotilla'', interception by Bahrain-Saudi Naval-Air force, skirmish ensue and Iran ships are sunk.

This the only kind of war that could happen to achieve Bahrain strategical goals ... invading Iran is superfluous and Iran invading Bahrain is impossible.

There won't be any shooting, Iran is not going to launch an amphibious assault on Bahrain. This is impossible, Iran don't have the capacity.

The best they can do is use their navy to escort some ships and I don't thing that staying during 15 days in a hole near Basra is going to help them duck missiles.
