Greeks are buggy

Listen great fan of the game, but I've had one problem that has bugged me from the begining, I have always wanted to play a good long campaign as the Greeks but I've always gotten tired with problems with the formations and battle. When I play a siege battle where the town is walless and they sally my units always spread out like crazy and go where they want. Any other battle i play my hopilite formations always get messed up, the standard bearer move forward and the rest of the group stays behind and gets out of order. Is there anyway I can fix this or can I hope to see this fixed in the next update?

This is a bug within the RTW code and cannot be fixed.

The only way to reduce the problem is to play on the smallest unit scale.
