Need Help with unit modification!

Thats my first theard and post

I'm watching this mod for about 2 months (playing it as well)

Recently I installed the FRoME Mod and i wanted to change some units and hitpoints (Dwarfs with less soldiers and more hitpoints, same for the elves)
and i also changed the bodyguard unit of gimli to a special iron guard unit.

But the changes don't appear in the game

i only edited the export_descr_unit and descr_strat

is there more to do?
