Cataphract Elephant Armor Stats?!

hey, i am playing the seleucid empire on RS2 patch 2.1. is it me, or do the cataphract elephants have all their stats, including their armor, identical to the indian (who are unarmored) elephants?

I think the armoured eles have more hitpoints.

this has been discussed various times
the cataphract elephants have some better stats (internal ones) than the others and higher hitpoints (internally...which come into account when using autoresolve)

i hope these internal stats are good, to at least justify the cataphract's elephant's massive upkeep of over 5k compared to indian elephants' 1.4k

Do they have more mass? What sort of internal bonus would triple the cost of a unit without affecting any visible stats?
