    Default Hide and Seek

Its been 10 days since anyone posted anything new relating to ExRM. I hope some of you talented folks are still working on the updated mod. I just LOVE this game and I just LOVE following the discussion relating to the history of the cultures that the mod represents. I guess I'm nervous because I remember a time that some of you weren't around for awhile. Those were dark dark days, and I shudder to think about them returning. Sorry for ranting - I just want to thank you all for the work you've done and encourage you to continue telling those of us without your god-given modding gift what you're up to!

Sorry for the quiet! We've been working very hard lately. I'm nearly done with the new gov't trees, though. As soon as we get those installed and populated, we'll be ready for a beta.

I guess it's been so quiet 'cause it's so close to done. Normally, I post here when I have new ideas, but the ideas are all in there now. And I'm happy to say it's mostly functioning. I'm afraid I couldn't quite make the dynamic AsOR thing happen without causing the building browser CTD, but you'll have it on a smaller scale with Greek and Diadochi settlements, at least. Those struck me as the most important to emulate, since so many other factions took advantage of Greek heavy infantry when they conquered a Greek region.

It means a lot to mean that you all follow this forum so closely, and for so long. I think all of you have contributed ideas in some form or another to previous versions, and I hope you enjoy 4.0.

btw, I just watched this tonight on DVD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbNhnaB2zpM

It's one of the funniest, most bizarre things I've ever seen come out of a major movie studio. Gobber's story is the best Viking epic ever.
