A bit lost with factions.

Finally i got download this great mod but when i was going to start a campaign a saw a lot of unrecognize factions for me like Gran county, principality, etc. My question is about where are the classic or most famous factions? I was looking for the empire but seen's like they're divided in kingdoms, is there any submod for change it? I was searching in the submod section but like i said i'm lost.

they are all provinces of a large empire. in the description you could see who is the most powerfull.

the most strongests are
Reikland (The Emperor's province)
Middeland (a very warlike people in the north, they are practically the equal of Reikland, except no emperor)
Talabecland (an ally of Middeland which also have enormous power)

there is some histroy behind each one but i think these 3 are the strongest. there was civil war where there was 3 emperors and some other political conflict between the knights of the white wolf and other orders that i really dont know much about but these 3 are the strongest of the empire provinces.
maybe Averland is also strong but i dont know much about it.

All of this small factions form one Empire. Warhammer Empire is very close to the old Holy roman Empire of German Nation, where the different provinces were very independent, ruled by king like nobles, and the emperor had always to watch out to keep the balance and stay in power. Actually the way the mod puts it is very close to the lore of the Warhammer world. So I think you may be mislead by other games who don't care about the differences in provinces. If you want to play the most "Empire" like, then just choose Reiksland with the emperor.
